Chanuka!
We have been working hard on learning about the chanukah story and customs. We have been playing with dreidels, pretend menorahs, real menorahs, and chanukah puzzles. We have also been learning the chanukah story by acting it out.

Visiting Morah Bella and celebrating Elana's birthday!
We really enjoyed visiting Morah Bella last week. We were so excited to go in a small yellow school bus.
On the way, we spied a chanukah menorah out our window! Morahs were really impressed that the children noticed it themselves and were able to connect it to what we were learning in school.

When we arrived at Morah Bella's house, we all gave her a card and a hug. Then we sat down and had a little snack.
We made Elana a chocolate birthday cake together and had a great time at her birthday party!
