We learned about being a good friend and how good friends take turns. We practice asking our puppet friends Benny and Leah for turns with the toy. We thought the puppets were funny and really liked saying Hi! to them and sharing the ball together.
We also began to learn our topic of "All about Me." In this topic, we will be learning about our body parts, our feelings, senses, and family. We began with reviewing the parts of the face. Some of us knew the names of parts of the face in Russian and now know them in English. From here, we are going to learn about using our senses and about understanding how our friends feel by their facial expressions.
For our face art, we glued down googly eyes, a pompom nose, a red pipe cleaner for a mouth, and then chose a crayon to color our hair.
